What web accessibility is

Accessibility means making our website usable for everyone — including people with disabilities or anyone who benefits from a more supportive browsing experience. We’ve designed the site to be easy to navigate, understand, and interact with, regardless of ability or device.

What We’ve Done

This website follows the WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards. That means we’ve made changes to help ensure a smooth experience, including:

  • Clear structure and headings on every page

  • Text that’s easy to read with strong contrast

  • Descriptive image text (alt-text) for screen readers

  • Keyboard-friendly navigation (no mouse required)

  • Simple layouts that work well with assistive technologies

  • Limited use of motion or animation to avoid distractions

  • Accessible videos and documents where needed

We built the site using Wix and used its Accessibility Wizard to check for and fix potential barriers. We’ll continue reviewing the site regularly to stay current and improve where we can.

Third-Party Tools and Limitations

Some parts of the website may use third-party services, like our online booking tool (JaneApp). While we aim to choose accessible options, we don’t control how those platforms are built — so you might notice differences in how they work.

If any part of the site isn’t working well for you, especially with outside tools, we’d love to hear from you so we can help or find an alternative.
